Beaverdam Reservoir

Gloucester, VA 23061

The main park entrance is located on Route 616 off Route 17 at Gloucester in Gloucester County. The ranger station, main boat ramp, and fishing pier can all be found at the main park area.

Little Creek Reservoir

Toano, VA 23168

​

From U.S. 60 at Toano (James City County), take Route 610 (Old Forge Road) to Lakeview Drive, turn left and take the second park entrance on the right.

​

Diascund Reservoir

Lanexa, VA 23069

 

Diascund Reservoir is located near the town of Lanexa just off of Route 60. The boat ramp area and parking lot is located off of route 603

​

Chickahominy Lake

Providence Forge, VA 23140

​

Access to the lake is available via two private marinas/landings where boats and other equipment can also be rented. These are located on route 60 between Providence Forge and Lanexa. Ed Allen’s Boats and Bait can be reached off of state route 649 (Rockahock Road). Eagles Landing is located 3.5 miles to the east of Providence Forge and can be reached by taking route 60 to route 650.

Lake Meade & Cohoon

Suffolk, VA 23434

The Cohoon-Meade Fishing Station, located on Route 604 (Pitchkettle Road) off Route 58, provides a paved boat ramp, boat rentals, bait, tackle, beverages, and snacks.

Lake Prince

Suffolk, VA 23434

A boat ramp is located off U.S. 460 at Providence Church on Route 604 (Lake Prince Road) in Suffolk

Western Branch Reservoir

The Western Branch Reservoir can be accessed via a boat ramp off SR 633 (Girl Scout Dr) north of the Lake Prince Pumping Station

NOTE: A City of Norfolk boat permit is required to launch from this site
